Ombudsman attends 105th Presidium Meeting of EUROMIL in Limerick

The Ombudsman for the Defence Forces, Ms. Paulyn Marrinan Quinn S.C. attended their 105th Presidium Meeting of the European Organisation of Military Associations (EUROMIL) which was held in Limerick commencing on Friday 27 April 2012. EUROMIL is the umbrella organisation of European national military associations and trade unions. It promotes and represents the social and professional interests of about 500,000 European, soldiers of all ranks and their families. The organisation consists currently of 38 associations from 26 European countries. EUROMIL is the main Europe wide forum for the cooperation and exchange of experiences among professional military associations on issues of common concern.
